Here at Tumaini Open School we’re celebrating extra funding and support from a US-based charity group: the Girls Education Collaboration.
Their Ally Funder Alliance channels support from donors towards initiatives that, like Tumaini, are locally-run. We are trusted to use the support wisely and it will make a big difference to our work.
We are now one of 4 ‘allies’ in the programme. As well as financial support, we will receive technical assistance, mentoring and help with project management.
The Girls Education Collaboration raises money from individuals, foundations, corporations, and other platforms to support girls’ education initiatives (both formal and informal) in rural, underserved areas of developing economies.
